This year, the Fort Worth Aviation Museum is hosting an Aviation STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) Camp program for young people 11 – 17. Classes will be held July 24th to 27th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Each class will consist of a lecture and a coordinated exercise, allowing children to participate and use the information that they are learning.
S: Exploring Aerodynamics and plane design. Held on July 24th.
T: Discovering the history of aircraft development and testing distances of different types of airplanes. Held on July 25th.
E: Studying the production of critical components designed for fighter jet aircraft and designing a safe capsule module for precious cargo. Held on July 26th.
M: Learning the math required to plot a flight navigation route on a map. Held on July 27th.
